Careers Unlimited for Learners is an essential tool for all Life Orientation educators. This publication will assist you to provide learners with credible and reliable information about vocational guidance, tertiary institutions, careers, job opportunities and funding options available to prospective students.

First published in 1990, Careers Unlimited for Learners has made a great contribution to the goal of increasing learners’ access to career guidance and tertiary study options.

Career guidance is crucial from Grade 9, as this is the time that learners need to consider career options so that they can choose the appropriate subjects for the National Senior Certificate.  Careers Unlimited for Learners is thus vital for both learners and teachers as it provides clear information about career opportunities, further study at Further Education Colleges and/or Universities as well as employment opportunities.
